Cullman Electric Cooperative is a member-owned electric cooperative serving residential, commercial and industrial members in Cullman, Morgan, Lawrence, and Winston counties. Cullman EC was incorporated in 1936, serving 350 members with 30 miles of electrical line. Today, the co-op has more than 42,000 member accounts and maintains more than 3,300 miles of line.
Cullman EC has approximately 100 full-time employees in positions that include linemen, staking technicians, engineering, equipment mechanics, purchasing and stores, accounting, finance, marketing, communications, information technology, metering and collections, theft prevention and investigation, cashiering, member service representatives, human resources, administrative and supervision/management positions. Qualifications, education, and experience necessary can vary depending on the specific job requirements.

- -Able to commit to a 12-week Summer 2024 Schedule - 20 hours perweek (paid position)

Cullman Electric Cooperative is seeking highly qualified, talented, and motivated applicants for a part-time Broadband Services Representative to join the Sprout Fiber Internet team.
The position serves as the primary contact to help customers inquiring about internet services, including connects/disconnects, problem resolution, processing of payments, explanation of bills and rates, general inquiries, and account maintenance.
The successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of two (2) years similar or related customer service experience is required. Experience in the financial/banking sector or utility sector, such as power, telecommunications, internet, gas, water, etc., is preferred but not required.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: The key job requirements include skills in communications (oral and written), marketing, sales, cashiering, public relations, time management, teamwork, and a strong emphasis on providing outstanding customer service. Applicants should have a working knowledge of database software and Windows-based computer applications.
This is a part-time position (up to 20 hours per week) with a preferred schedule of Monday through Friday, 10 am to 2 pm. To apply, please complete the inquiry form.
