H.U.G
Cullman Electric Cooperative’s Home Utility Gift (HUG) program is a great way to help others by paying all or a portion of someone else’s Cullman EC bill. The HUG program was started during the 2007 holiday season, but HUG payments quickly became popular all year long as a way to assist someone who is struggling financially due to a lost job, the death of a family member, a house fire or other disaster, or simply as a gesture of kindness toward a friend or neighbor.
To make a HUG payment, stop by our main office in Cullman or our Addison branch and tell one of our Member Service Representatives who you want to help. After you’ve made the payment, we will mail a card — either anonymously or with your name included — to the recipient of your goodwill.
For more information on Cullman EC’s HUG program, call 256.737.3200 or stop by one of our offices today.
