Other Outage Reporting Information 

**If you are experiencing a Sprout Fiber Internet Outage, please call 256-737-3200 Option 5 for Sprout, Option 3 for Technical Support. **

To sign up for text message outage reporting: 

• •  STEP 1 — To sign up: Text CECIN to 85700. Confirm your address, and save the 85700 phone number in your contact list for future use.

• •  STEP 2 — To report a power outage: Text #OUT to 85700. Confirm your address, and your outage is registered in the co-op's outage management system.

• •  When signing up, you may receive a message that your phone number does not appear in Cullman EC's records. To add or update your cell phone number to your account information call 256-737-3200 and choose Option 3.

Outages and Social Media:

• •  Reports made directly on our social media accounts as posts, comments, or messages are not entered into the outage management system. 

• • For large outages, we post outage updates on our Facebook page when we can.
