The EmPOWERed Academy

Cullman Electric Cooperative is launching the EmPOWERed Academy, a program that offers members the chance to learn more about how their member-owned co-op operates and the role Cullman EC plays in improving the quality of life for our community. The Academy features four classes throughout the year including Cooperative 101, Keeping the Lights On, The Future is Now and Sprout Fiber Internet.

The first class, Cooperative 101, will be held on Monday, April 17 from 5:30 to 7pm. This class will include information about the history of Cullman EC and rural electrification; Cullman EC facts, figures and finances; understanding the seven cooperative principles; as well as a facility tour and bucket truck rides. Space is limited and reservations are required. Members can register by email: info@cullmanec.com or by calling 256-737-3268. All classes and programs will be held at the Cullman EC Cullman Office.
