Scholarship Requirements

• The scholarship will be awarded based on evaluation of the following criteria you must submit to qualify:
• 1. Official Transcripts / GPA (35 pts.) Official transcripts only — must be signed by counselor. Please have counselor send these to: Scholarship Committee c/o Cullman Electric Cooperative P.O. Box 1168 Cullman, AL 35056
• 2. Activities (35 pts.) Include honors/awards, community service and school activities as well as years of involvement and any position held for each.Upload below or send to Scholarship Committee c/o Cullman Electric Cooperative P.O. Box 1168 Cullman, AL 35056

Please include your name in the file name when uploading any required documents.

3. Essay (15 pts.)
Include honors/awards, community service and school activities as well as years of involvement and any position held for each. In 200 words or less, describe your career goals and reason for choosing field or profession. Must be typed, double spaced, 12 point font.

4. Two Letters of Recommendation (15 pts.) 
One letter from a teacher, current or former, and one letter from a person in the community who is not a relative. Letters of recommendation should be sent to:

Deadline 
The application above must be filled out completely and turned in to Cullman EC along with official transcripts, activity list, essay and recommendation letters by 4 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024. Dependants of CEC Board Members and employees are ineligible. The Valedictorian and Salutatorian are also ineligible to participate in the cooperative scholarship program.
