Big News!! Sprout Fiber Internet provided by Cullman Electric Cooperative will begin connecting members in January.
We will start in the Berlin and Eva Road area, moving to Fairview then Holly Pond. The members in these areas who are eligible for internet service in our Phase 1 project can plan on in-home installation in Spring 2021.
The map below shows how Phase 1 construction will continue throughout 2021 and into 2022. If you are in Phase 1, these are the estimated times we will begin servicing your area.

For our members outside of Phase 1, we do not have a timeline of when we would be in your areas. We anticipate our board of directors and management to decide on any future phase projects sometime late Spring into Summer of 2021.
So if you have not already, tell us you are interested in receiving Sprout Fiber Internet. Visit our Sprout page here, search your address, complete the form, and hit submit. You'll receive a confirmation email that you are on our list to contact once service is near your area!
The decision to launch Sprout Fiber Internet is rooted in being a better power provider for our members. Fiber Internet will allow high-speed connections between our substations and to some of the fiber ready downline devices. This technology will significantly improve our ability to operate the system and to respond to outages. It will bring our electric system into the 21st century!
