Cullman EC Touch A Truck 2023
Public invited to climb on board at co-op’s Touch A Truck event
Cullman Electric Cooperative’s Touch A Truck will take place on Saturday, May 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cullman County Fairgrounds. Admission to the event is free.
The event will feature vehicles from the Cullman County Sheriff’s office, the City of Cullman police and fire departments, Cullman EMS, and many of the volunteer fire departments from across the county. Other vehicles visitors can check out will include bucket trucks, tractor trailers, buses, farm tractors, and heavy work and construction equipment from local businesses.
“Touch A Truck is meant to be a hands-on event,” said Brian Lacy, Cullman EC’s manager of communications and external affairs. “The doors will be open on these vehicles, and guests are encouraged to get inside and check them out. Representatives from all of the emergency agencies or businesses will be there to talk about the vehicles and show people around.”

This year’s event will also feature several local food trucks and other food vendors to allow attendees to purchase refreshments while attending this year’s event as well.
